Call AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina and let us know you are pregnant! We have a special program for pregnant members called Bright Start.

AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina has a special program for pregnant members that is called Bright Start. We want to help you make healthy choices for yourself and your baby.

Early and complete health care before your child's birth is the key to having a healthy baby.

Each member enrolled in Bright Start will receive educational materials and can call our registered nurses at 1-833-475-2262 with any questions or concerns during their pregnancies.

High-risk pregnancies

Any members identified as having a high-risk pregnancy will be contacted by a Care Manager who is located within the community's local health department. Partnering together with our local health departments, our goal is to provide coordinated and complete care throughout each mother's pregnancy.

Keys to Your Care®

Keys to Your Care is a special texting and outreach program for any AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina members who are pregnant that will send you text messages every week during your pregnancy and for the first 15 months after your baby is born.
