AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina (ACNC) would like to hear from you. To help you on your health journey, you may be asked to complete some surveys or screenings that give you a chance to voice your concerns and provide us with information we may need to help you.

Take the Care Needs Screening

ACNC members are encouraged to complete the Care Needs Screening (CNS), a survey that will help us understand your needs and how to best support you with programs and services. The Care Needs Screening asks questions about your health history and habits.

If you need help completing the screening, have questions or would like the Care Needs Screening in a different language, just let us know. Call AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at 1-855-375-8811 (TTY 1-866-209-6421).

Complete a Care Needs Screening and receive $25 on your CARE Card. This reward can be earned by each member once per calendar year.

Member Advisory Council

Share your voice to earn rewards!

Join our Member Advisory Council and earn a $50 gift card for each meeting you attend. Our Member Advisory Council works to improve care for our members — and we want to hear from you! Tell us how we can improve our services and programs so they work better for you. We meet every three months.

You can join our meetings:

  • In person at one of our Wellness & Opportunity Centers
  • Online through Zoom.

Consumer Assessment of Health Plans (CAHPS®) Survey: Your opinion matters!

At the start of each year, a survey will be mailed to a randomly selected group of ACNC members to ask how they feel about their doctors, our plan, and the care they receive through the survey. We thank you in advance for your feedback!

Post-Appointment Member Satisfaction Survey

AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina uses a survey to evaluate your care experience. This survey is called the Post-Appointment Member Satisfaction Survey. This confidential, brief, six-question survey will be sent to you in a text message within 30 days after your appointment to determine how satisfied you were with the visit. We use your feedback to learn more your experience and to improve your quality of care.

ACNC may contact you about your experiences with our language services. With feedback from you, we can address problems and improve overall satisfaction with these services. Find out more about language services you can use.
