As an ACNC member, you should:
- Have a Medicaid ID card.
- Have a Member Handbook.
- Complete a Care Needs Screening.

- Have access to the Member Tools: the mobile app and the member portal.

We publish a member newsletter twice a year. Read the latest edition.
Your Medicaid ID card
Your Medicaid ID will have:
- Your primary care provider’s (PCP’s) name and phone number
- Your Medicaid identification number (state ID)
- Your AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina member ID number
- Information on how to contact us with questions
If anything is wrong on your Medicaid ID card or if you lose your Medicaid ID card, call Member Services at 1-855-375-8811 (TTY 1-866-209-6421). Always carry your Medicaid ID card with you. You will need to show it each time you go for care.

Online: Information sessions will be held during the first and third Thursdays of the month. Information sessions in English will be held on the first Thursday at noon and in Spanish on the third Thursday of the month at noon. These sessions will provide an overview of AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina benefits, services and answers to frequently asked questions.
